Your Skincare Tips - Is your skin wrinkling in your sleep?

The Acne Programme

Is your skin wrinkling in your sleep?

Sleep is essential for good skin health. It is when your skin regenerates and heals itself. But how are you sleeping?

If you sleep in the same position every night for years and years, you may get rest lines.

Rest lines are where your face is pressed up against the pillow in the same position all the time and you are physically creasing your skin. Do this often enough and it will result in wrinkles. On top of this, your skin will look puffier in the morning if it has been squished against a pillow all night.

Think about your sleep position and the many many hours your skin might be pressed into the same position.

Do you sleep on your side? Wrinkles lines in your cheek or chin?

Do you sleep on your front? Lines on your forehead and cheeks?

How about on your back? No wrinkles!

When you go to bed tonight, have a think about it and see if you can try a different position to avoid building up those wrinkles.

I wish you all the best with your skin health! For further tips and tricks, make sure to go to www.theacneprogramme.com.
