BLACK WOMEN ARE LEAVING MYSPACE AND JOINING RICH BLACK GIRLS BECAUSE THIS SITE CONNECTS THEM WITH OTHER POWERFUL BLACK WOMEN, INVESTORS, MENTORS, COMMUNITY LEADERS, INDUSTRY LEADERS AND COUNTLESS OTHER RESOURCES

Los Angeles, CA (BlackNews.com) - Professional Black Women and College students prefer Rich Black Girls because the members aren't just collecting social contacts without benefiting from it. "In no way, shape or form does the site attempt to duplicate Myspace. The design isn't like myspace, the method of contact isn't like myspace. We believe that the style of our site is even better than Myspace, truthfully," Tina Crawford explains. "I hope that I don't put any one off by this statement, but there is absolutely no comparison." Rich Black Girls has members who are in some of the most powerful organizations in the nation, if not the world. The members all come together to help empower one another. Shanda Sealy shares, "We have members who are AKAs, Deltas, Zetas, Eastern Stars, MGTs, Sigmas, former Jack and Jill Organizations, Community grass root organizations, any sorority or powerful organization that you can think of, these members are not only apart of those organizations, they are members. This gives us an extreme advantage, as they bring those organizations to this organizations." Regardless of political background, or sorority, Black women have chosen to come together to empower one another when they sign up to the Rich Black Girls network.

Rich Black Girls network allows Black women to receive scholarship information, industry insider information, job leads, business leads, investor contact information, media information from the first time they sign up. But more importantly, it allows other professional Black women, and college students to connect with community and industry leaders. "We have so many resources. I have successfully bartered and exchanged with several members there," Julie Towry shares. "I have increased revenue for my bottom line and business by just the simple contact to another member. I mentioned this network, and I received nothing but resources from another member." Jerry Crosby shares, "Black women have to face sexism, racism, assaults on our self-esteem on a regular basis. It is just nice to for once have a safe haven, where everyone in that organization wants you to win." Ms. Crosby continues, "After college, the ideals that we have all had can get lost, especially trying to work a 9-5, you become disenchanted and really can get in a rut. But this organization has really given me the light again to do something with my life, and do something for my community."

Rich Black Girls allows the members to truly foster a relationship that will benefit them professionally and in a social manner. As soon as the member signs up, they immediately are welcomed and establish a professional presence with their peers. "We even help our members by bidding on their ideas, and supporting their business plans, right within our own community. We put their business plans up for auction, and then we each can donate whatever amount towards the business plan so that their dreams can come true," Michelle Fraizer reveals. Rich Black Girls instructs their members on how to create a business plan, a sponsorship proposal, press releases, grant proposals. There is no end.

Rich Black Girls takes care of its college student members. Davina Brown, 22 year old Senior at Georgia Southern University. International Studies and Affairs major, shares, "This club is more than just a name. As a college student in my senior year of college, I've been looking for a place to not only network, but meet other supportive African-American women. I've found my home and a home for good. This organization has helped give me a professional and personal advice building a Black fortune, an extensive internship and job database, mentor in my area of study, and a fun message board forum that links me up to 'Black Socialites' and Rich Black Girls all around the world."

Rich Black Girls is not just online, this is a powerful and strategic organization online and offline. Rich Black Girls has team leaders in every region of the United States, and an International leader as well. Black women are making every effort to ensure that they empower one another face to face. There are team meetings that are conducted by powerful community decision makers. And, the purpose of the teams is to foster relationships, but it is also for community empowerment. "We as Black women are reclaiming our power. I know that I got tired of just talking about changing and making a difference. We all do it, sit in the beauty salons and have all these wonderful ideas, and then we leave the beauty salons, or our girlfriend-to-girlfriend pow wows, and nothing is usually done." Rachel Greene continues, "Not with this network, every single day, hour, and month we are actually doing things to make ourselves richer and make our communities better." Rich Black Girls helps Black women empower one another on a personal level as well. There are community platforms to provide numerous solutions at the local levels in virtually every city in the United States. These task force teams create solutions to problems that plague the Black community: self-esteem issues, the growing relationship gap between Black men and Black women, our health crisis, crime in our communities, and so forth.

"When you join, you aren't trying to decipher and find out if this person is really a professional or not, because the entire database is subscription only," Jacque Carter, Membership Ambassador, further explains. "We have members who are engineers, chemists, doctors, nurses, actresses, it's just wonderful." Veronica Whitfield, Membership Ambassador, states, "You would have to see it to believe it. We are actually in charge of recruiting Black women who fit the bill of 'take charge diva', and it is refreshing that we are all on the same page." Veronica Whitfield continues, "When you go to our member's profile, you will know that this is serious, and it's not just a random act. These women mean serious business."
