Keith Ponder is a retired player that signed a contract with the Dallas Cowboys in 1977. He stayed on the move, going to New England in '78 and Houston (Oilers) in 1979. Ponder was a good athlete who made it as far as he could off of hard work. Keith is proud of his past accomplishments, but he will not allow his past to define who he is today. Mr. Ponder serves as Secretary of the Metro Atlanta Chapter of the NFLPA for Retired Players. Today he can still say that the world doesn't owe him anything.
