CONTACT: Reality Show Contender Gives a Glimpse into Her World as a Competitor, Publisher and Workshop Facilitator Atlanta, GA (BlackNews.com) - Dwan Abrams is a full-time novelist/publisher/speaker. She's the author of Only True Love Waits, The Scream Within, and Favor (a short story appearing in "The Midnight Clear: Stories of Love, Hope and Inspiration" anthology). Recently, Dwan accepted a two-book deal from Urban Christian. Through them, her book, Divorcing the Devil, will be released in April 2008. For the casting call, Dwan traveled from Atlanta to Ft. Lauderdale. While there, she successfully completed every challenge. Although competing with hundreds of writers from across the country, Dwan was chosen as one of nine contestants to appear on "The Ultimate Author!" The Ultimate Author was filmed on location in Ft. Lauderdale. The authors were as diverse as the activities presented to them. And the grand prize...a coveted book deal. The Ultimate Author is "a novel idea" by Emmy Award winning producer, Lauren Spicer of Von Enterprises International.
