As you may recall, we ran a new type of podcast contest last month

We also had some interesting developments on the SAP vs. Oracle
front. In Oracle vs. SAP lawsuit: Hardball or posturing? we dived
into Larry Ellison's latest statement about his refusal to accept an
out-of-court settlement with SAP. Problem is, SAP never made any such
offer. Something stinks, and we checked in with veteran analyst Josh
Greenbaum for a reality check.

You may also have heard about the proposed increase of H1B visas next
year. A dramatic increase in H1B visas spells trouble for American
SAP professionals and consultants, while hiring companies have reason

Q: What's your take on RFID? The hype appears to have died down
recently, most experts citing prohibitive costs - even for passive
chips - on anything but bulk shipments. Should RFID be a factor when
planning for the next five years?
A: I agree, the hype that was mostly due to the discovery of a new
way of tracking has indeed died down a bit...
