Hello Everybody,

Well, I flew back in from New York just a week ago, and I
must say, it was amazing!

I said all weekend we were there that I hate looking like a
tourist, but hey, I did it anyways, and I came back with
about 500 pictures for a 5-day trip.

There's just so much to see there, but I'm gonna have to say
that I would not be able to live in that busy area. As much
fun as places like Times Square and Battery Park were, if I
had to deal with that crowd everyday, I don't know if I'd
live. Props to those of you who can do that, but I certainly
cannot.

As you all may or may not know by now, I'm a huge 9/11 buff,
and Ground Zero was definitely a must see. The memorial that
is set up at the site is fantastic, as are the surrounding
areas including St. Paul's Chapel.

And if you guys haven't heard, one of the biggest fires in
the history of the south suburbs of Chicago happened last
Sunday as well. A lumber yard just north of us caught fire,
and was dubbed a five alarm blaze. In other words, units
from 20 different fire departments had to report to the
scene.
