Research a car Buy a car Sell a car

Q: I need a new 4-door. I really like the Altima but my wife thinks Camry is better over the long haul such as 10 or 12 years for reliability. What are your thoughts and should we wait for the new Accord before deciding?
A: By all means, wait to include the new Accord in your decision making. You might not choose it, but you'd always wonder if you didn't at least try it before buying. Over the extended period you're considering keeping a car, how you treat it might become as important as the maker's reliability record. You'll be beyond the design life of some components, so your faithful maintenance becomes a big consideration in how long things last.
