Advice from the Top: Cardinal CEO focuses on teamwork
---------------------------------------------
A lot has been written about what we expect of our leaders, but former
Honeywell CEO Larry Bossidy raised a different question in an article for the
Harvard Business Review. He asked: What does your leader expect of you? That's
tricky, and for another perspective, USA TODAY corporate management reporter
Del Jones turned to Kerry Clark, who spent 32 years at Procter & Gamble before
14 months ago becoming CEO of Cardinal Health, the giant distributor of
pharmaceuticals and the 19th-largest company on the Fortune 500. Here's what
Clark, 55, says he expects of his legions, most of them strangers.

---------------------------------------------
Early morning parties, posh hotels and glittering white-sand beaches may be
perennial standards for the annual Cannes Lions International Advertising
Festival. But it won't be business as usual this week at the 54th edition of
the biggest annual gathering on the French Riviera of the global ad industry.

of goods, including meat, milk, soft drinks and fresh fruit all rose from
April.

Cabrera survives Woods charge to win U.S. Open
---------------------------------------------
Unlikely champion. Familiar scenario. Angel Cabrera hit all the right shots to
hold off two of the best players in the world on a Sunday of survival at the
U.S. Open, giving Argentina its first major championship in 40 years with a 1-
under-par 69 at brutal Oakmont.

New sheriff in Pittsburgh is laying down the law
---------------------------------------------
One by one they straggled off the field, sweaty and seemingly sapped as much
by the intense practice session as by they were by the muggy, 85-degree heat.
It was just a "voluntary" OTA (uh, organized team activity) in mid- May
without full pads. Yet with the fast tempo and heavy dose of 11-on-11 team
drills, in many ways for the Pittsburgh Steelers this has the feel of a two-a-
day training camp outing in July August.

'Razor-thin' margin carries Edwards to Mich. win
---------------------------------------------
Carl Edwards looked like he was in for a close shave Sunday until Martin Truex
Jr. scraped the wall in the closing laps of the Citizens Bank 400 at Michigan
International Speedway. Instead, it was motor coach driver Tom Giacchi who'll
pull out the razor, making good on his bet to shave his beard after Edwards
ended his 52-race winless drought.

Once populated by Deadheads and their descendants, Bonnaroo is no longer a jam-
